I added a couple lines of code to Kilinich's "Mouseover Polygon Effect" scene to make a simple and crude raster scanner. The way it works is, you SLOWLY move your mouse cursor back and forth and up and down over Kilinich's house polygon, and when the cursor is over the polygon geometry, little circles will be spawned 2 meters to the right of the polygon. Because of serious computer lag, it takes a very long time to scan the entire polygon and create a duplicate image of it. You can scan in any direction, and even in circles if you want to. Just scan VERY SLOOOOOOOOOOWLY, and eventually you will see a copy begin to show!
EDIT - I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT YOU FIRST MUST DELETE THE RED COPY OF THE HOUSE BEFORE YOU START SCANNING A NEW COPY! |
