Algodoo

I had no idea what to call it. Because it's powered by springs, I just call it a "Spring Thing".

I was just playing around with making springs expand and contract with sin and cosin functions. At one point I found that this structure behaves in a strange manner, and its chaotic motion causes it to move across the Algodoo landscape in one direction or the other. Once it gets moving, its speed averages about 8 m/S with peaks at about 10 m/S.

Occasionally the "thing" might tip over or otherwise get into a condition where it cannot move. If it does that, just restart the scene. In some cases you can grab it with the grab tool and get it going again.

It's not very useful for anything, but it's interesting to watch (sort of like the U.S. President).
