Wow, this is great! But there is just one thing. The load needs to lowered slowly; using the handle to crank it down the same way it was raised. A farm jack works in such a way:)

Thank you! Yeah I know it just drops the weight, it was confusing just getting it to do that! I'll look into making it lower slowly either the way you said or another!
