nice little effect, pretty cool
Just curious, why not use the random number generators such as rand.uniform01, rand.normal, and rand.normal2D? They are much better than the hinge random number "trick" because you can select the kind of desired output range without having to do a lot of extra math.
Ah thanks Xray, It's jsut that sometime's it's not easy to find new script's, and because that's the only result I found, I had to use it. Could you write an example of one of the lines with an range from -5 to +4 in the comment's ?
s_noonan created three excellent scenes that show examples of the random number functions. To find them, do a search on the word "rand" with the Author's Name: "s_noonan". The search results should give you those three scenes.
