Sorry for the misspell on combat and tutorial.
And also, merry christmas and happy hannukah xD
The gas system that you added doesn't do anything, it just reduces the bullet's velocity. Gas systems are made to transmit all the power to the bullet, which in blowback, it would be lost right after the shell is separated from the barrel. Then the remaining pressure is used to eject the shell
Also the shell would kill you. it goes faster than the bullet xD
But it's good! I like it. 9/10!
Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the advice, I didn't even realize the shells velocity. I think I'll just make it blowback xD
Oh, and also, Merry Christmas to you too:) (Or hannukah)
The point of a gas mechanism is to prevent blow-back altogether. Blow-back mechanisms are only used in miniature pistol-caliber pistols and carbines (.22s, .22lr, all the way to .25 acp). The reason for this is that the powder charges in these are insufficient to operate most recoil mechanisms and gas mechanisms, as the weapon will most likely short stroke, resulting in stovepipes or similar malfunctions. Assault rifles, Semi-automatic Precision/Sporting Rifles, auto-loading Battle-rifles, and anything else that uses a gas mechanism uses it because until the round leaves the barrel, the chamber pressures are unsafe for extraction and ejection, and will most likely result in some kind of dangerous issue, such as a ballooned or shredded receiver and destroyed bolt and bolt carrier. Usually, the bolt locks into the barrel until the gas pressures from the gas port push the bolt carrier back, unlocking the bolt from the barrel or barrel extension. By this time, the chamber pressures are safe enough that extraction and ejection will be safe as well.

overall, nice job! The only con I have is a lack of a locking feature of the bolt. 9/10

Merry Christmas, everybody! (and happy Hanukkah to my Jewish friends:coolgrin: )

Thanks for the heads up. Also, on the comments for your M16, I heard you and The Linkage talking about a user who stole his work. Just out of curiosity, was it me? If so, please tell me which scene I accidently coppied and which scene the content was in. Thank you and have a merry christmas:)
