The file is huge mostly because of the large texture files. Those texture files could be reduced by modifying the files with an image editing program such as Photoshop or PaintShop Pro. With an image editing program you can reduce the file size while making hardly noticeable changes on the modified images. This is just a suggestion.

yea some of the textures are 1500x1500!! lol couldnt be botheredto reduce them!! plus i became sidetracked collecting funky balls!!;)

And this is only stage 1. I wonder what this things final file size is gonna be, like 10 gigabytes?

Or you could just do what I do and use individual geoms. It looks cooler and makes the file a lot smaller ;)
