Great demonstration. I must say that PID algorithm is invaluable for things like missile guidance
Indeed, very interesting. Great work. _o_
Thnaks! I divided projectile kinetic energy by potential energy lost by counterweight, but total energy lost by system seems to be a better measure.

I'm still trying to build supersonic treb with reasonable masses and dimensions, but enormous amouts of energy are lost in last arm unless it's very light.
Faster than light in 0.04 second...

It took me about 1 hour, mostly tweaking

Interesting.
Really nice!
Maybe try to turn it into working engine. It took me a while to figure out why it speeds up, invisible motor was a bit disappointing.
Anyway, 10 for idea and looks.

Very nice walker.
As always, very nice and very detailed.
Make it shoot and it's perfect.
Also, I find that increasing motor speed to say 120rpm while decreasing strength to 700-800 Nm makes it more realistic. (it doesn't reach full speed in few seconds)

9/10 from me
Interesting.
The whole topic of passive walkers is intriguing and not well explored. Maybe I'll try to make one too.
That's nice. The bolt is moving suprisingly smoothly.
My favourite plane!
If You want pretty decent easily adjustable flying mechanism with no scripting, maybe try something like:

but with thrusters to keep it simple.
Totally awesome. Maybe put some details how it works?
