A lot of people do not have number pads. :(
not really a color sorter, but a size sorter
It's because the legacy mode of the hinge is set to 1
click the hinge and go to script menu and set legacy mode to 0

legacy mode 1 makes the hinge stronger, support more weight etc. but less stable at high rpm.
legacy mode 0 is the opposite.

I think that's how it works anyways :)

wow the effect lasted a good 20 seconds. xD
Thank you!! Always love getting comments from older members
I didn't mean age lol. I meant early members.
Thanks! I'm actually tweaking it myself too. I kinda just threw this together in a few hours after seeing a documentary on rotary engine. :)
Does anybody know the gear ratio between the fixed gear and the rotor gear?
I seriously got this one right by sheer luck, and I can't find the right size to make the gears again. I keep trying over and over with different gear sizes/different numbers of gear teeth but I just can't get it. )|(

I want to make this over with circle gears.
Thanks so much for the help!!
ahhh that makes more sense. I was sitting there looking at a 16 and a 48 c-gear, thinking the 48 looked way too big.
Wow! you really made this a lot better. Im about to upload a way better wankel than the one I made before. WAY more precise.

wow really awesome job. totally puts mine to shame

I'm working on something that should be way better than my old one, and a lot more detailed
Awesome gob! I played with it for a good 10 minutes
Very cool! definitely a lot more elegant than stopping the scene and rotating the timing wheel slightly by hand.
haha thanks Zeusgodoo
I must have done something right when I get a simple "cool" and no tips on how to make it better ;)
Oh wow, very nice!
You always gotta show me up don't you ;D
Awesome Ive been waiting for this

And Gent, don't give up! I check Algodoo like every day to see if you've uploaded that 3 rotor lol
This works fantastically at 200Hz! I honestly think 200Hz should be the new default standard. I can't even understand why the lowered it to 60
I think most computers. (even my crappy laptop) can handle 200Hz perfectly fine.

Maybe it's just because some people see using anything above 100 as a "crutch"
but I think there would be a whole new world of possibilities with algodoo if the default was just 200
Are you referring to this? xD

This is more like a 4 stroke. 2 strokes don't have a cam/pushrod setup like this.
Incredibly epic at 1200Hz at slowest sim speed :o
Which Rotary are you referring to?
Excellent spawn engine. very well done!
Ahhh I see. I thought he was talking about a Wankel rotary.
I was gonna say... :bonk:
Gent: Thanks for the useful information. I can honestly say I wouldn't be anywhere near the level I am today if it wasn't for you and some other members helping out and giving suggestions.

The Linkage: I'm not quite sure what you mean.:(
Thanks so much Gent!
Very cool! I like it
Very good gun. Works well!
10/10
Yessss! I've been waiting to see this.
It's really well done too!
At first I was really confused why the balls were so damn tiny,
but quickly realized I had to just increase the throttle
I love how it's just sitting on the ground and not glued to the background
gives you a real nice idea of how smooth this thing actually runs
