if i removed the gas piston it would no longer rechamber the next round because the bolt spring is so strong
Even at lower frequencies this mechanism would lead to much higher refire rates because you dont need a heavy bullet or super strong bullet spring
the bolt spring can actually be stronger then the bullet spring.
If i felt motivated to do so i could change the spring tensions to low enough values and run it at 100htz and it would still fire much faster, and be much more reliable then a gun using the standard mechanism.

your guns (specifically the ejector pin and the fire selector switch) were my inspiration for the guns so i would like you to see it.
if you know the command for it set the sim speed to 1000htz
the algodoo command is set.frequency = 1000 in the tilde (`) menu
