Yeah, I've also used a roller interruptor in my a2000. This one seems to lock the bolt slightly, but I'm not sure if it delays the action. If you give it a quick tug, then it won't delay it, and also maybe bullets would fail to move the bolt most times because of the lock.
I was thinking that this would be AWESOME for a bolt lock in gas-operated guns. If you make the "roller sockets" perfectly semicircular, and you try to push the bolt, it won't move, but if you move the red part, it will move backwards
Yeah, I know- but I needed 600000 Nm to move the bolt backwards, after that I needed only 200000 to keep it at the middle. So it's more of a weak bolt lock, and an interruptor at the same time
3 things so far:
Use collision to spawn balls, then you ensure that only 1 ball is spawned (Spawning lots of balls is NOT good)
Put boxes instead of polygons to the pistons (with that shape you're losing energy, and also boxes are better than polygons, at least at lower densities)
Make the place between the piston and the block head smaller (this will impulse the ball you spawned downwards)
Also, if you want, use GUN tech. Look for my W16 or any other spawn engine here to see waht I mean. It's just an A-shape that impulses the ball downwards
Thanks. Algodoo sometimes works, and sometimes fails. I've seen that if you run any scene at 0.1x speed, the accuracy increases (or the scene behaves different)
I cant believe that there are so many unrated scenes at front page When I started algodoing (in my younger days... ) it was a real pain in the butt to get scenes to front page

I know, Kilinich. I just wanted to make another engine types. I've made one that uses pistons without rods, they collide with a circle in the flywheel and act like a Scotch Yoke and make the flywheel move. I've got 450 Nm with 120 Kg at 100 Hz, same size than this (I know it's not much neither)
I think I'll add some more boxes (like one vertical) to give it more stable torque (and more!) This is like a 2 piston engine. It would be good for a motorcycle, and I think I can strip it some weight without losing performance.
vaidas, have you downloaded it? It gives 30 rad/s on idle, and like 75 rad/s accelerated

It doesn't lag, but it generates boxes very slowly. With a horrible videocard, I've got 144 FPS in my comp (AMD HD3000 and 6 cores @ 3.5 GHz). You can fix that if you rewrite the code so that it stops spawning boxes when it detects that it's on red again, then put this at 40 Hz or less to make it spawn less boxes because as Kilinich says, it's unnecessary, and ya

Isn't that burst actually called "burst limit"? I'm sure that there are guns that will fire 3 shots even if you release the trigger after the first
It needs more shading, and darker lines where the trunk fits and where the bumper is placed. Also try to make the door handles a little less liney (make it more like a circle, no visible lines, or with CSG) and make the outlines a little lighter
But it's the best in Algobox ATM. Good job! 10/10
P.S: Do you have a LED monitor or whatever? I tried to put mine in 100% brightness and nearly died of cancer. it seemed horrible to me with the screen bright.

I don't know if it's working now, but your problem is that the brake in the purple axle is put to activate if the wheel is going faster than -20 (your correction) so it will brake until it gets to -20. If you change it andd put < -20 it may work

The gas system that you added doesn't do anything, it just reduces the bullet's velocity. Gas systems are made to transmit all the power to the bullet, which in blowback, it would be lost right after the shell is separated from the barrel. Then the remaining pressure is used to eject the shell
Also the shell would kill you. it goes faster than the bullet xD
But it's good! I like it. 9/10!

Well the engine is huge, so it's not so simple, but it has more than 60 or 70 hp for sure. It is 4x11 mts size xD
I've tested it at 100 Hz, scene.my.power=6; in s_noonan's "Torque vs rad/s" scene (or whatever) but the Nm limit was too low, so it couldn't measure the total torque/power
But I like the scene. I still think that you should make everything 11 times smaller (literally) because everything looks like in slomo, and you should use easier controls, for example, the ' key is quite weird in my keyboard (i guess it's some generic Spanish model).
