It goes to the right because it is spinning in a clockwise direction when it comes in contact with the plane. Think of it like a car tire that will move in the direction that it spins while it contacts the road. Even though you do not have gravity enabled, the object has some initial downward velocity before it contacts the plane. When it contacts the killer plane, only a few of the boxes get stripped off the outer edge of the group, causing the square group of boxes becoming rounded. Very quickly after contacting the plane, the velocity of the group switches from vertical to horizontal and no more boxes get stripped off the group by the killer plane.
My explanation may be a little verbose but that's just me!
hamzasolom20 -- I searched the Algodoo archive for the word "titanic" in the title and it came up with a list of 423 scenes! So, yeah, "Titanic" is a very popular subject here on Algobox!
Dude, this is the first I've heard about it so I did some research. Now I know it was a fictional Nazi propaganda film that was made in Germany during 1942 and was released in 1943. I was correct about the Titanic sank in 1912.
It's there for anyone to report the comment. I guess if you want to report yourself, then go ahead and do that. Maybe I'll ban you if you report that you broke a rule!
If people misuse the Report links by making nonsense comments, they will be warned not to do that. If they stupidly do it again after being warned, they get banned.
I looked up the word tween and it said it's a youngster between 10 and 12 years of age, considered too old to be a child and too young to be a teenager.
Rules? Who gave you the authority to make rules here on Algobox? Other car makers can make whatever kind of car they want to. If their cars go faster than yours, then it means they are better car makers than you are! No new rules are necessary.
So, are you saying if someone uploads a scene claiming their car is faster than your car, then YOU will be the judge and tell them whether or not they followed the rules? I don't think people would like that at all. But if they are Okay with that, then I guess it won't be a problem.
If you right-click on the witch then select "script menu" you will see the script that I used to make the witch polygon melt away. It's fairly complicated. I used the script that someone else made to simulate melting ice. There are much simpler ways of making an object appear to melt. One simple way would be to make it move slowly down behind a plane or some other large object. If done correctly, you could make the object appear to be melting.
The thing is impossible to control with the arrow keys because of the way you configured the thrusters. In each thruster you checked the checkbox "Thruster follows geometry rotation". THAT'S WRONG because if the dice rotates then the UP arrow is no longer UP, and LEFT arrow is no longer LEFT! In each thruster you must UNCHECK the checkbox labeled "Thruster follows geometry rotation". Then re-upload the scene. After making that change, LEFT arrow key will always be LEFT regardless if the dice rotates in any direction. Same for the other thrusters. Just make sure that each thruster is pointing in the correct direction. For example, the thruster controlled by the left arrow must be place on the dice pointing left.
