@little -- It did that for me too. It vanished because the white box timeToLive was set to a very small decimal value. To fix it, I changed the timeToLive value to +inf before running the scene.
@AverageCoder -- As s_noonan told you in a previous scene you should check your scenes AFTER uploading them to Algobox. You do that by downloading the scene immediately after uploading it. That way you will uncover bugs that you may not catch when you only run the scene on your computer. I make a habit of doing that with my own scenes and occasionally I catch a bug that I would not have found otherwise.
I was taken back a bit when I saw that pile of spent cartridge cases. They are HUGE! There's no way that a cartridge of that size would fit into that pistol! Also, they are rimmed cases which are not normally used in auto-loaders. With just a few exceptions, rimmed cartridges are typically loaded into revolvers and break-away guns. Rimless cartridges are typically used in auto-loaders (also called semi-automatic) handguns and rifles in order to avoid "rim lock" which is when the rim of one cartridge gets stuck behind the rim of the cartridge below it in the magazine.
I can talk about guns all day, but I don't want to bore anyone. (pun intended )
Anyone reading this please let me know if my jump-scare scene was too intense, or not intense enough, or just plain boring. This will help me plan my jump-scare scene for Halloween 2025! Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Notes:
1. Most of the Thyme script in that scene was designed by s_noonan
2. The code just basically smooths out any sharp edges. It cannot perfectly morph a square into a circle.
3. The process of morphing is very slow, so the original requirement of morphing shapes within 5 seconds will not work.
You can improve it even further by adding some lasers in the horizontal direction! Instead of long strips, it will cut the paper into small, bite size chunks.
