I see that you use ignition timing to determine engine rotation direction. That is an interesting concept but it doesn't explain how you handle the timing of fuel/air intake and exhaust gases which are things usually handled via valves and cam shafts. I guess that happens through the unseen magic of Algodoo!
Except for that little detail, you did a good job on the scene.
Thank you! May you have a wonderful and prosperous new year.
Continue learning as much as you can about our awesome universe, and continue spreading peace and kindness everywhere you go, and with every person you meet!
@Prince -- First, you need to unglue the object from the background. Do the following:
Right click on the object, then scroll down to "Geometry Actions" then left click on "Loosen".
Then right click on the object again and scroll down to "controller". A box should pop up. In that box, just under "Geometry Controller" left click on "No directional controller". Those words should change to: "Select input". Next, tap on any of the arrow keys on your keyboard. After you do all that, the geometry that you selected will move up, down, left, or right with the keyboard arrow keys.

The game started out that way but it removed any challenge. I wanted to make a game that would challenge the average gamer. I may add that later as a selectable option.
How were you able to count the beam when it strikes both surfaces of a segment? I tried using e.normal but no matter what I did I could not make it work. So, I ended up using two separate sections per mirror -- One for the front and one for the rear.
Hi Luke,
Yes, of course I accept your apology. I was an irresponsible and sometimes foolish 13 year old kid too, and I've done some things that I have been kicking myself for ever since. Now that I'm an "older" man (I won't go into details) I still get embarrassed when I think about those things. But I assure you that I never did anything that was illegal, just DUMB!
Okay. If I ever get the chance to visit Greece, I will look you up and maybe you can show me around some of the amazing structures there! I know that Athens is a beautiful city.
Ummm... You begin with the premise that Algodoo physics is "broken". Unfortunately, the issue seems to be that you do not understand how Algodoo works, and you therefore reached the conclusion that something is broken. I suggest that you learn more about how Algodoo works, and then some of the things that you think are mysterious or broken will make sense to you.
No offense but some of the things you stated in the scene do not make sense or are ambiguous. I have been around here for about 12 years, and, at first, some of the things I experienced with Algodoo didn't make sense to me either. But after some time and experience, it all began to make sense!
Oh, by the way... I noticed that this is your first scene that you uploaded, so yeah... you are definitely a "noobie". Don't be so quick to condemn something or make fun of it at least until you can honestly say that you completely understand it.
Not crazy at all. It's doing exactly as expected when you set the motor torque and speed of all the axles to some crazy high numbers. Algodoo will do some other seemingly "crazy" things if you make it do those things.
There are many different ways to make fire with Algodoo but they all require Thyme Script. I don't have the time to explain them right now so if you don't mind waiting a while I'll get back to you either later today or tomorrow.
Little -- Wait.. I just thought about my comment where I said that I wish I had you as a math teacher when I was in school. I don't know for sure (because I don't know you on a personal level) but when I was in school, you probably weren't born yet!
