Thank you for your kind words but I must correct you on one point. I am not the founder of the program. The program "Algodoo" was created by and belongs to the company "Algoryx". They have a separate website if you might be interested in their software products. I "Xray" am the Algobox moderator (also called the Admin). I am a volunteer (since about 2014) who spends many hours per day policing Algobox to make sure that people use it according to the rules. Algoryx is located in Sweden and I am located in the United States of America.
Thanks again for the information about adaptive optics. That kind of technology is of much interest to me.
@ExperimentingPerson123 -- It's not necessary to enter a new comment every time you have something more to say! Just click on the little blue paper and yellow pencil that you see in the upper-right corner of the comment. That will allow you to EDIT the comment and delete or add new stuff that you happened to think of. Now, this is assuming that you use a regular browser (such as Chrome or FireFox, etc). I don't think you can edit a comment using the Algodoo built-in browser because it is very limited.
This is an example of an edit. I added this a couple minutes AFTER I uploaded the original comment above.
He was! I sold him the rights to it for 44 billion dollars (the same price he paid for that worthless social media website called Twitter). Unfortunately for him jet engines do not work in space, outside of the Earth's atmosphere. I wonder how long it will take him to figure that out!
Nice job on the simulation but I believe it would be more interesting and educational if you could provide some explanation as to what we are looking at. For example, what do the red, white, and blue dots signify. Also what is actually happening when those dots are moving in different directions. You can add those explanations directly in the scene (by editing it) or in the scene description.
This is only a suggestion. You make the call whether or not you want to make those changes.
Algo-john1234 -- If you zoom the scene way out, you will see a stack of images below the main image. Those are the individual frames that get cycled one-at-a-time in the main image. If you slow down the cycle rate by reducing the simulation speed (a slider just above the Pause/Start button) you will see each frame cycling from one to another. After the last frame has been shown, the cycle then starts over again by displaying the first frame. The switch from the last frame to the first frame is nearly seamless so that it looks like a continuous motion of the train. This is how movies were made during the last century when all they had was movie film (no digital electronics like they now have).
Well, it depends.... If you simply make a list in text form and publish that list as a scene, then NO because it would be classed as a personal message. But if you make a scene with characters, especially if things move or crash or explode, then YES that would be okay because the scene would be more than just text. Just keep in mind that after you upload the scene and I look at it, it may get deleted if in my opinion it violates the Algodoo Rules.
didi -- In order to make complex scenes like this one you need to learn how to code with Thyme Script. There is a lot of good information about Thyme Script on the Algodoo Forum. You can get there by clicking the tab labeled "Forum" at the top of any Algobox page. Once there, click on the heading "Thyme Scripting". There are a few other resources available to learn Thyme Scripting but someone else will have to point you to them.
If you get serious about learning how to code, there are a few people here on Algobox who might be willing to answer your questions (including me).
Both control panels are exactly the same except upside down!
Anyhow, what is this supposed to do? You say it can send messages over really long distances but you don't explain how to use it! We cannot read your mind!
