@rarescratch2 -- This scene was uploaded nearly three years ago, so the likelihood of 42flowermaster making any changes for you is slim to none. I don't think 42flowermaster even comes around here on Algobox much any more.
One more thing I forgot to mention.... Displaying your own face or even your entire body is allowed as long as the image is appropriate for this website. In other words, the image must not be discriminatory, derogatory, or insulting toward any race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation. Also (of course) the image must not display any gender-revealing body parts.
You can fix the backward text on the police car this way:
1. Right-click on the car. That should bring up the Edit Menu.
2. Left-click on "Mirror". That should flip the car around so that the text is correct.
3. Save the scene on your device, then upload it to Algobox by editing the incorrect scene.
Guys, calm down. There's no rule that says you cannot copy and use someone else's title! If the scene was copied, then that would be a different story. The title is only some words. It's not another person's hard work.
Congratulations Little! I still remember when I turned 18 (A long time ago!) the world saw me as an adult, which was kind of good, but also was kind of scary. It opened up a whole new world of possibilities for me. Good luck on your journey through this complex world we live in.
Very nicely done game! As most people here on Algobox know, I'm not a hard-core gamer but I must brag a little because I got further than I originally thought I would the first time I tried playing it! BUT.... Just after I made it through the first two levels (if that's what they are called) I said to myself "This is fun but too easy!". I never should have said that to myself because after that, my player kept crashing into the wrong objects and it kept falling down to that very hot place below the Earth where bad people end up! LOL
Okay, enough rambling. I just wanted to congratulate you, a_bored_coder on this excellent game. It is VERY challenging and very well thought out. Nice work!
Quote: "is there no way at all to remove deleted scenes from when I view my own profile "
Deleted scenes on Algobox never get "removed". They stay here forever but are digitally tagged as deleted. They can be undeleted by the Admin if there was some important reason for doing so. BUT, if a particular scene was deleted because of a rules violation, it most likely would need to stay deleted depending on what the violation was. For example, a scene that was deleted because of it containing cuss words, or sexual imagery, would not get undeleted no matter how much the user begs me for it.
My wife and I use a number of these grabbers for reaching and grabbing objects that have ended up in places we cannot reach and grab with our unaided hands (e.g., behind the sofa, and behind the clothes dryer). They are inexpensive and extremely useful. Our grabbers come in two lengths, short (about 1 meter) and long (about 2 meters).
Quote: "Nio (the unrealistically large robot) was built because the engineers were drunken like sailors."
HEY!... I want to set the record straight. Not only is that comment rude, but it's also inaccurate! I can't speak for any other Navy besides the United States Navy but I can assure you that today's modern Navy is made up of intelligent, professional, dedicated and proud Sailors. Of course you will find an occasional sailor who has had too much to drink during any particular evening while socializing, but the old story that gets passed down through the ages that most Sailors are a bunch of drunken bums is just plain wrong. I dedicated four years of my life as a Sailor in the US Navy, and I rarely saw any guys who have had so much to drink that it made them unable to perform their duties. The Navy would not tolerate that kind of behavior, especially for sailors who have access to classified documents or equipment.
Quote: "This is a lot of why I'm still so active on Algodoo despite being an adult"
Huh? Being an adult with disabilities is not a valid reason for being active on Algodoo! I'm an "older" man who has a few age-related disabilities but I'm still active on Algodoo, not because I have disabilities, but because I enjoy creating Algodoo scenes and sharing them here on Algobox with other like-minded smart people. I had no idea that you were disabled until you made that fact public. Disabilities aside, I've always thought of you as being extremely intelligent, friendly, and likable. In my opinion your abilities greatly outweigh your disabilities no matter how severe your disabilities are. What you do with your life is up to you. Stay focused on your abilities and do whatever it is that you enjoy doing. You WILL be successful!
Quote: "I always thought the drunk sailor stereotype was more back in the days of wooden ships"
Yup, I'm sure that's where the story originated. Also, the old Hollywood movies about drunken sailors, pirates, and other sea-faring groups added credence to the false narratives of drunken sailors.
You have an unnecessary step in your instructions. It's really not necessary to liquify then freeze the polygon. Here's what to do instead: After you make the polygon, right-click on the polygon to bring up the Edit Menu. Then hover your cursor over Material. Then click on ICE. That's it!
Oh dear, please don't ever give me a reason to do that!
(Yes, I know you were just kidding! )
Quote: "But I have/had it in my head that most people don't have time for stuff like this anymore once they become adults "
For many people, even with busy lives, they MAKE the time for the things they enjoy doing. I can use myself as an example. I began making Algodoo scenes and uploading them to Algobox some time in 2012 while I was running my own X-ray repair business (That's where my username comes from!). In 2014 I became an Admin which required even MORE of my free time. Then in 2017 my wife and I agreed that it was time for me to retire. I sold my business and since then I have been officially retired. Of course I find other things besides Algodoo to keep me busy, but now I can devote more variable time to Algodoo and my other hobby (high voltage electronics). So, you see... Being an adult doesn't take time away from things people love doing, they just need to coordinate their available time more critically. I plan on continuing to upload Algodoo scenes as long as Algoryx keeps Algobox alive, and as long as my body keeps ME alive!
