Custom fonts don't work in Algodoo, if the computer of the one that downloads doesn't have the font it just displays Verdana
You have gone too far
You're cheating there. Couldn't you use a CVT instead of using an axle to start it? cause you're moving the 5 tons with the axle, and the engine just sits there until it has enough speed
That engine needs a lot of work. first make the movement of the piston half of what it is now, so you get more speed. Then spawn circles that fit entirely in the cylinder (radius 0.375)
Those shapes upon the engine are needlessly large, if you want more power you have to make them collide to the balls, and you can make them smaller (half the size)

Also try using 120 or 200 Hz... I know it will give you less power but realistically talking if you need 600 Hz to make an engine work then the engne is crap

And instead of killing the balls with timeToLive you should put a timetolive of like 1 second just in case balls get off the engine, and you should put a rectangle that deletes the ball when it gets down enoiugh

The pistons have to be heavy (use density 30) and NOTHING has to have friction or restitution

Also can you make the lasers toggled?
haha yeah that was a slip up, i noticed right after i posted that
It's very unrealistic, as that engine would be very thick because the rods are stacked up. That's why a main rod is used. See my 67 cyl or eanayayo's to know what i mean
Also you should only use brake if you don't care that the two objects get unsynced. If you will make a timing system on an engine or something then use bend (bend=true, bendConstant= +inf, bendTarget =0 or any other angle)
*7 cyl
I lolled so hard after this xD. You probably have a lot more, even the most unknown marble racer has more than 1000 downloads by people, but those are the scenes you downloaded
Xray is just a moderator, and the best he can do is tell Algoryx. Also if you looked on the forum you'll see that a maximum scene per day limit was suggested at least like 20 times by all differnt people and the common answer is no (don't ask me why).

So in other words Xray can't do anything
Whatever, just go. but i remind you that you didn't even hear me, and you keep whining even while this was suggesed a lot
I told you on the deleted scene that Xray can't do ANYTHING. He's just a moderator, he's not the company that made Algodoo (Algoryx) and what you say was ALREADY ASKED FOR. You're not helping at all
Thanks s_noonan! And pnvv, wankels suck cause they need seals on the tips of the rotor, and the rotor can do a force on the chamber, but here you have a lot more place to apply seals and they wouldn't be as necessary as in a wankel as every piece has a lot of contact on the other surfaces...
But friction might be a problem and i'm not sure how they accomplish lubrication here. they did a demonstration engine on an university and it somewhat worked tho
It's not that hard, you put that on the postStep of the object you want to be influenced by air
they aren't lubricated on the combustion chamber at all<_<
Good luck with bogging sim time then, if you'll do it with readables. I guess you could do it with lasers and a bunch of collideSets. I might try that too
No words. 10/10

BTW you can fix the downwards movement by cranking the frequency up to 120 Hz, it will be laggier but you'll fix it. Algodoo runs more accurate at 0.1x since the version after 2.0.2b15
Well, you giving tips is a little bit far fetched. This has no sense tho

use the grid ALWAYS
Good one! if you use two 45ยบ half circles instead of 1 green one, like a pacman facing left, it will work a tad better
Why didn't you cut the rims and used exact angles for them? They're very low quality like that

the car skin is good tho
actually the efficiency thing is not real, for every litre, you get number of litres - 0.2 litre.
Like if you input 10 litres you get 9.8 litres, if you put 0.5 litres you get 0.3 litres
uhh faucets don't have a compressor
"Turboencabulator"
it was a joke about a machine that never existed but was explained with totally weird pseudotechnical vocabulary
BTW, it's true that it is stolen but at least according to Xray/Algoryx this is not an exact copy therefore we cant do anything
It explodes nearly every time i turn the sim on, if you want to fix it select all the hinges (select all, then Selection -> hinges or pivots idk), then select everything and make it have AT LEAST 100 density. Also use 120 Hz or everything!

60 Hz is the default cause Emil thought we would adapt to it despite the crappiness, and even if we fought a lot to keep it at 100 or use 120 default he didn't budge. I suggest you use 120 Hz or even 240 for your scenes as they're usually not incredibly complex, (I don't mean they're bad :P ) and they won't have much lag

Also, to improve collisions even further you have to use totally unrealistic densities on everything (I use 200-600 for engines n stuff). You can make them like 15 times better with some weight, and no one actually cares about realisticness but Mr. Butthurt Pnvv
Oh and use bend for the ignition axle. Just use bend=true, bendConstant = +inf, bendTarget = (try values until you get it right), and deactivate the brake.
Brake is much stronger than bend but it tends to unsync, while bend is elastic and even if it might move a little bit it corrects itself in a fraction of a second

P.S Good scene  ! 10/10 for ya
I can tell the same, i was more than 5 years here and when I started it was much easier to get likes and stuff- most people used a web browser to upload scenes. That way, if a scene wasn't liked by people it was bogged down to the trash bin, but you needed at least a 1 to avoid a scene from getting to the popular page. Then came the engine fever and I admit it wasn't even close to this marble race shitstorm, and that's when i started improving (ever so slightly) my scenes. So thin about this: I was eleven years old when i started making scenes here. In one year I knew basic scripting and made some cars and stuff. I have 8 pages of scenes and i consider that that is too much!

Now let's talk about you. You've been approx. 1 year here. You have 17 PAGES OF SCENES, LIKE 2X THE SCENES I HAVE, and you've done them in 1 YEAR.

"I never spammed so you can't accuse me of that."
There you have your crappy argument shattered. in a million pieces

Let's not even talk about the subscriber/scene ratio...
One more thing: How many users have abandoned Algobox just because of you guys? Have you ever counted? Gent, cata, maybe Christer, and a lotother good users have stopped making scens in hopes that a damn nuke will fall upon this mr crap.

I had 10 scenes displaced from the 1st New page and only 10 because I tried to find the best hour to upload them. I had to reupload lotsa them, and you all aren't even wishing to help with this and keep doing camps. Why don't you use the forum for that? That would be a little more civilized as you can also send scenes and write and whatnot

This was the outcome of making Algodoo free, downloadable by anyone - algodoo wasn't costly before, but still kids had to ask their parents to buy something etc. and that limited the amount of kiddos to, say, 10% of the ACTIVE users. Now, they started making scenes with the brush and totally crude and crappy, but there were so many good scenes and users that they received tips, inspiration and help from everywhere, and now they don't do 500 marble races per year <_<

I'm scared
nope
icrls984: For(3, (x)=>{code here}) will execute the code inside for 3 times on a step, so here it executes the spawn script 65 times. Faytree used 3 spawnCircles because he uses different velocities for them, so they have spread. And the x on the (x)=>{} part is not really needed for anything, you can put an (i) like faytree did and it won't change anything. I'm almost sure it's the number of execution but idk
