Yours do the same thing but i use math.negate instead of use sings (+ -).

The light doesnt touch the dark zones , it's like a light infront of and object that makes a dark zone, the darkness where there arent any light ,like shades.

Please to understand better , check script menus , is not completed yet ,this scene its only the body of my idea.

The scene its simply maked and programed if you click on tthe center of the moon youll click a box. See its scripts code i firs call a function like _ex= {scene.my.looktarget=13} then i call function while a time is running or anything .
