Just a tip, and don't take this the wrong way...
Don't explain everyone's personalities at the beginning of the series. Have the viewer Form an understanding of their personalities from thier actions in the series. I'm not saying it's bad to have a breif introduction of each character (Name, Gender, Other simple info), but don't take it overboard. Before I go off on a tangent here, Just remember that the personalities of characters should be learned by the viewer, and not just told to them at the very beggining. hopefully, you can take this advice.
